Gorgeous ca 1953 - 1955 Delta Air Lines 20 Years of Service Wing in 10K Gold by Balfour

ARTIFACT:

This is a gorgeous circa 1953-1955 lapel wing for twenty years of service with Delta Air Lines. This pin would have issued during the time when the company was operating as Delta, Chicago, & Southern. It is in 10 karat gold with two diamonds and was made by Balfour.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1953 - 1955.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/8" in height x 1-1/8" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

10 karat gold, diamond, enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization pin.

MARKINGS:

B within a shield (Balfour mark), 10K.
