ARTIFACT: This is gorgeous ca. 1917 United States Air Service Jr. Military Aviator or Observer Sweetheart Pin. It has half of a wing riveted onto it to signify the Corps' Insignia. It has two flags with inverted patterns crossed over a torch

VINTAGE: Ca. 1917

SIZE: Approximately 1" x 1-1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold filled bronze, sterling silver wing

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C-type catch

MARKINGS: "U.S.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Little to light wear, the wing has patinated beautifully.
