ARTIFACT: Gorgeous 1910's – 20's City of New York Bronx Department of Building Inspector's badge named to J. R. Jackson. The center of the badge features a nicely enameled Seal of New York City and above it reads: "DEPT. OF BUILDING. BRONX" and below: "J. R. JACKSON". The top of the badge features a spread winged eagle with a bowed head and a banner across that reads: "CITY OF NEW YORK". The reverse shows the maker's mark: "JOHN FRICK JLRY. CO. N.Y."

VINTAGE: Circa 1910's – 20's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" x 1-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled brass

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: "JOHN FRICK JLRY. CO. N.Y"

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate wear, small piece of enamel missing from center, overall very fine condition.
