Fantastic ca 1912 Full Sheriff of Deer Lodge County Montana Badge of Bruce N. Bryan

This is a Fantastic circa 1912 Sheriff of Deer Lodge County, Montana badge in gilt brass by Detective Publishing Company of Chicago. The ball-tipped, star-shaped badge features ornate details and a center disc that reads: "BRUCE N. BRYAN SHERIFF DEER LODGE CO." Sheriff Bryan was elected to his office in 191He sadly died on September 21, 1915, drowning in an attempt to save his wife and others.

Circa 1912.

Approximately: 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/8" in width.

Gilt Brass with painted lettering.

Vertical kick pin with tongue-type 'C' catch.
