This is a Fantastic 1940's Illinois State Highway Maintenance Police Captain Badge by Hanson.

1940s.

Approximately: 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass with hard fired black enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
