Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful 1930s-1940s Indian Motocycle wing. Indian Motocycles started burning rubber in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1901, made first under the name Hendee Manufacturing Company. The Indian head at the middle of the wing is three-dimensional.


This is from an early motocycles motorcycle motorcycles company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. 

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE:

About 2" in width by 3/4" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver and gold-plated silver with red painted details.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS:

None.
