This is a Fantastic 1920's Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff RANGER 5 point Star Badge #6 by Chipron.

1920s.

Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/4" in width.

Gold-plated brass.

Vertical kick pin with tongue-type 'C' catch

6 (Fine - Very Fine): The badge shows moderate wear, and It's seen a good amount of use and a lot of the plating was polished or worn off the front and obviously the catch was replaced during the period of use. But still a great badge with a great "been there" look.
