ARTIFACT: Fabulous WWII Ribbon Bar. This pilot was obviously a real hero, to have earned the medals on this miniature bar. The medals look like they were possibly made in Japan, during the early Occupation period. The bar features in order from the viewer's left to right, the: Navy Cross, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, Purple Heart, WWII Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and WWII Army of Occupation Medal.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/8" x 2-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, bronze, enamel, silk ribbon

ATTACHMENT: None, pin is missing

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Naval collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX16 LBGEX3/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The miniature medals show minor to moderate wear and fading, a few areas of verdigris, much of the gilt and enamel details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
