This is an English-made World War II bar for either a United States Marine Corps Lieutenant or a United States Navy Lieutenant Junior Grade.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 1-1/8" height and 7/8" in width.

Plated brass.

Vertical pin British kick (Y) pin.
