Description
Fabulous circa 1941 United States Air Corps 13th Bomb Squadron large painted insignia on vinylized canvas, named to squadron member Howard E. MacDonald. The insignia depicts the skeleton wielding a bloody scythe and a bomb falling from the sky, the insignia earned them their name as "The Devil's Own Grim Reapers", lettering around the insignia reads: "U.S. AIR CORPS 13th SAVANNAH AIR BASE HOWARD E. MACDONALD" .
