ARTIFACT: This is an extremely scarce circa World War II Turkish pilot wing. It is in gold-plated brass and is of a hollow, two-piece construction. The design is of a soaring eagle with a crescent moon and star above him.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height by 3-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal kick pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a foreign militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDEX12 LFIEX12/12 SEAJX5/13

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The wing shows some areas of moderate wear and has an overall handsome tarnish.
