ARTIFACT:
This is an extremely rare World War II United States Army Air Forces air gunner wing Type 1. This substantial sterling silver wing is made by Luxenberg of New York. It has strongly defined diagonal detailing on the wings and a winged bomb at its center. 1st one we've had to offer in over 6 years, and only the 2nd One we've ever had. Biographical belonged to Charles C.Campbell.

Circa WWII.
SIZE:
Approximately 15/16" in height and 3-1/16" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver.

Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.
