This is a very rare World War II United States Army Air Force Women's Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) collar insignia. The pin is shaped like the letters W.A.S.P.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II
SIZE:3/8" height and 1-1/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutchback catches.
MARKINGS:Reverse of catches list PAT PEND numbers.
