ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare WWI Early 1917 Imperial German Aircraft Speed Indicator by Wilhelm Morell Leipzig with Case & Test Document.

VINTAGE:

World War I, Early 1917.

SIZE: Approximately

Case: 4-5/8” in diameter.

Speed Indicator: 4” in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Main instrument body: Metal, Glass cover, inside used brass with black coating.

Leather Case: Test Document paper. Metal Loops, leather and early Plastics or Bakelite cover.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a WWII German Militaria personal gear collection which we will be listing more of over the coming months. MCJJK17 LBHIEX07/20/26

CONDITION: 7 (very Fine)

The speed indicator shows minor wear and damage on the glass, and one of the leather holders shows small damage, overall, it is in very fine condition.
