ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare and wonderful early 1930s United States Marine Corps "China Marine" enlisted man dress hat badge from the early 1930s. The term "China Marine" initially referred to those soldiers responsible for protecting American lives and property in China during that country's revolution and the Second Sino-Japanese War. The badge is an eagle, globe and anchor.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: H&H maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-DB-25-VBJX12 SACEJX4/12 SABJJX4/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows some light to medium wear and tarnish and has a few small areas of oxidation, mostly on reverse.
