ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful circa World War I or early 1920s United States Marine Corps officer dress EGA hat badge in sterling silver with the anchor and continents in 10 karat gold. The eagle, globe and anchor is reportedly by H&H, and was converted to a pin-back during the period.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I Ð early 1920s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver and 10 karat gold.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: SILVER on reverse of eagle.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJJX13 LAGEJ3/13 SAGEJX11/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The EGA shows little wear or tarnish.
