Description
Fresh! This is an extremely rare and untouched circa late 1930s or early 1940s Deutsches Reichs-Post (DRP) dress bayonet with frog. The bayonet has a beautiful bright blade and is by Paul Weyersberg & Company of Solingen. It bears Weyersberg's maker mark as well as a DRP (for Deutsches Reichs-Post) number on the opposite side of the blade. The DRP evolved over time from the national postal entity of the German Empire into a Nazi-run postal monopoly that ministered mail to the fatherland as well as newly "annexed" areas.
