Extremely Rare Imperial German GIBRALTAR Cuff Title Worn From 1901-1918

This is an extremely rare Imperial German "GIBRALTAR" cuff title worn from circa 1901-191The band reads GIBRALTAR and was originally awarded to regiments in the army of Hanover for actions during a siege of Gibraltar in 178In 1901, the Kaiser re-instituted the band to honor certain regiments of the former Hanoverian army that were absorbed into the Prussian army, including Fusilier Regiment Number 7This is an extremely rare German cuff title and the only one of its kind that I have seen

Circa 1901-1918.

1-1/8" width and 17" length.

Wool felt band with silk/cotton embroidery.
