Extremely Rare Ca. 1901 Manila Metropolitan Police Force Sergeant Badge

Extremely rare circa 1901 Manila Metropolitan Police Force Sergeant badge. This Force was manned by United States Military volunteers after it was formed by the Taft Commission. The slightly convex, shield shaped badge reads: "METROPOLITAN POLICE SERGEANT MANILA" in nice raised block lettering and was locally made in silvered brass.
