ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare Early World War II United States Army 727th ROB Railway Operating Battalions Military Police Badge # 35.
The 727th ROB was sponsored by the Southern Railway Company, and was the FIRST Railway Battalions of World War II. They began training at Camp Shelby Mississippi. Essentially, this badge is for a Military Railroad Police Officer.

SIZE:

Approximately: 2-3/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated nickel with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
