Description
This is extremely rare Walt Disney Studios original artwork for the USAAF 26th Fighter Squadron (Provisional), a part of the 5th Fighter Group, Chinese-American Composite Wing (CACW). Answering to the 14th Air Force while officially part of the Chinese Air Force, the CACW was active from October 1, 1943 until August 1, 194The 26th flew P-51 Mustangs during their service. The drawing is of a grim tiger riding on the back of a sweating horse with red spots.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 7-7/8" in height and 10-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Illustration on thin "tracing" paper.
