Description

ARTIFACT:

Extremely rare and cool early WWII UK Long Range Desert Group shoulder tab, Egyptian-made. The tab reads: "LRDG" in red embroidered detail. The Long Range Desert Group was a unit within the British Army and though were engaged in combat, spent much of their time behind enemy lines. The LRDG was tasked with secret reconnaissance missions and intelligence gathering and were considered navigation experts in the desert.

Embroidered wool felt, cotton thread, treated gauze backing
