ARTIFACT: Extremely rare circa 1943 United States Army Air Forces 9th Air Force 'large shield' variation shoulder patch. This example was made in the United Kingdom and is in mint condition with an exception of a moth nip at 3 o'clock that does not detract.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/8" x 2-3/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, cotton/polyester thread, backed with mesh

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX16 LBGEX11/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The shows minor wear, small moth nip at 3 o'clock (does not detract much), light adhesive residue on reverse, colors remain bright, overall excellent condition.
