Extremely Rare 1946 USN Tactical Observer Wing by Amico on Original Card

This is an extremely rare circa 1946 United States Navy tactical observer wing by Amico (American Insignia Company). The pin-back style wing is in gold-fill upon sterling silver and comes on its manufacturer original card with its original cellophane wrapper.

Circa 1946 (post World War II).

Wing: approximately 9/16 in height by 2-3/4" in width; card: 3-7/16" by 1-7/8".

Gold-fill on sterling silver; oaktag, cellophane.

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

AMICO 1/20 10K G ON S on reverse of wing; AMERICAN INSIGNIA CO. NEW YORK on card.
