ARTIFACT: This is an extremely rare 1933 tinnie from Furth celebrating war dogs and dogs in general. The oval tinnie shows the head of a Doberman against the Maltese Cross with a swastika beneath his set jaw. It reads Flugplatz Fürth 1933 Der Hund in Krieg und Frieden (Furth Airfield 1933 Dogs in War and Peace) around its border.

VINTAGE: Circa 1933.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in height x 1-1/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The tinnie shows some medium wear and some areas of oxidation.
