This is an extremely rare circa 1928-1929 service or lapel pin for Universal Air Lines System, a company that flew between many major Midwestern cities in the late 1920s. The pin in sterling silver and has a great Art Deco logo of an armless man with a pair of sleek wings upon his slightly arched back.
VINTAGE:Circa 1928-1929.
SIZE:Approximately 3/16" x 1-1/8"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel, brass backing.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
