This is an Extremely Rare World War II United States Army Air Force 360th Fighter Squadron, 356th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force Jacket Patch Chain Stitched on Felt. In Combat 10/43 to 5/45 Bomber Escort, D-Day Normandy, Rhineland, etc.

Approximately 5-3/8" in diameter.

Embroidered on wool felt with gauze backing,

To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

8 (Excellent-): The patch shows a few moth-holes, the biggest one is size 1/16" x 1/8" and the others are smaller, and the outer edge is slightly worn. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
