ARTIFACT:

This is a Extremely Rare World War I United State Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Overseas Cap or Sweet Heart Size Badge on Original Card of Issue.  Paye and Baker of Massachusetts "P&B" on an original card.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWI.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/8" in height and 5/8" in width; card 2" x 1-3/4".

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS:

"P&B" (Paye & Baker mark) on card.

ITEM NOTES:
