ARTIFACT: This is a Extremely Rare / Unique 1930's New Hampshire Public Service Commision (Railroad / Ship / Boat Inspection Service) Commissioner Badge. The Badge was worn by the "Chief" / Head of the Commission / "Agency" which was a unique NH State Police Predecessor Agency.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 1-13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-filled on Brass with Heard Fired Blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: SPENCER MFG.CO BOSTON

CONDITION: 8 (Very Fine - Excellent): The badge has minor wear and abrasion on obvers, light tarnish on reverse, overall very fine condition.
