ARTIFACT: Extremely rare pre-entry to WWII, 9K gold Chinese Donation Pin for Aircraft Purchase. Badge in partial box. This shield-shaped badge was given out for large donations toward the purchase of an airplane. The front of the badge shows an aircraft beneath a Chinese sun and the reverse has several raised characters.

VINTAGE: Circa pre-entry to WWII

SIZE: Approximately ¾" x 7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 9 karat gold.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with "c" style catch.

MARKINGS: 9 K' and Chinese characters.
