Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an early World War II Chinese aviation badge in silver. This shield-shaped badge was given out for donations toward the purchase of an airplane. The front of the badge shows an aircraft beneath a Chinese sun and the reverse has several raised characters.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with C catch.

MARKINGS:

Characters on reverse.

ITEM NOTES:
