Description
This great badge was made for a tour to Mexico City on November 20th, 1887, when 4 Railroads joined force to bring the trip to fruition. The C. & A. ( Chicago & Alton Railroad ), the A, T., & S. F. ( Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe ), Mex. Cent. ( Mexican Central Railway ), and Mex. Ry. (Mexican Railway) are all represent on this wonderful badge, worn no doubt by both the travelers, and the Railroad employees on the trip.

SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8 in length x 1-1/8 in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stamped nickel, with a nickel plated brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin, and a hand-cut sheet nickel saddle for extra support of the pin.
