ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare Late 1880's Los Angeles California SERIES 1 Special Police Badge # 89 by LARSCO Los Angeles Rubber Stamp Co.

Nickel Plated Nickel, Late Period of Wear Repaired Replaced Pin. These were Worn through the 1890's, even after Series 2 Badge came into use. Earliest LARSCO Maker Mark

VINTAGE:

Late 1880s.

SIZE:

Approximately: 2-7/8" in height x 2-7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel Plated Nickel, Nickel plated brass findings.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with rectangle saddle.
