Description
This is an Extremely Rare Early to Mid World War II Unofficial United States Army Air Force Flight Engineer Wing. With an original lacquer finish, it is quite possible that this was factory made, or a diligent jeweler could have also applied the E to the Sterling Pilot Wing. This unmarked wing pattern spent decades being called an "Issue" wing before it was identified in 2024 that the wing was made by the Robbins Company of Attleboro Massachusetts.
