ARTIFACT:

This is an early World War II United States Army Air Forces pilot wing by Gemsco. The wing is in sterling silver and shows a striped crest at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 13/16" height and 3-1/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

STERLING GEMSCO.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The wing has some small areas of wear and an overall tarnish; pin is slightly bent.
