ARTIFACT:

This is an Extremely Rare Early 1920's Los Angeles County California Deputy Sheriff Welfare Commissioner Badge #8. I am told that there were probably about 12 of these Deputies working under the County welfare Commissioner in the early 1920's. Made by Chipron, But unmarked.

VINTAGE:

Early 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated nickel with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS:

N/A.

8+ (Excellent): The badge shows little wear, and much of a painted lettering remain intact.
