Description

ARTIFACT:

Extremely rare circa 1946 United States Marine Corps Military Police Armband as worn during early Japan Occupation by the 5th Marines Tank Battalion MPS while patrolling Beppu - as can be seen in the picture from the magazine publication Spearhead Vol 3 below.

The two last photos in the slideshow are not owned by Flying Tiger Antiques. Therefore, they are not for sale and are only included here in the listing for historical reference.

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): The armband shows moderate to heavy wear and soiling, nearly all the painted details remain, great been there look!
