ARTIFACT:

This is a Extremely Rare Circa 1870 Richmond County Georgia Police Force 5 point Star Badge. Worn in the Augusta Area, Post Civil War.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1870.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-13/16" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel with a brass pin and lead solder.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical safety-style pin.
