ARTIFACT:

This is Beautiful & Extremely Rare 1915 RNAS Royal Naval Air Service Pilot Wing in Gilt Silver by Pearce & Thompson Birmingham. For Uniform wear, unofficial at this Point in the war, by done with regularity. Wonderful with the Early Date of Manufacture.

Approximately: 1/2" in height x 2-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal T-style pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS:

P & T (Pearce & Thompson), Anchor, Lion,  q (1915).
 
Rampant Lion (mark on top of wing)
