This is a Extremely Rare 1860's New York Fire Department Badge for the Harry Howard Hose Company #55.

Circa 1860's.

Approximately 1-1/2" diameter.

Stamped nickel, with applied brass numbers, and brass findings.

Vertical kick pin with catch.
