Description
This is an exquisite World War I United States Air Service pilot wing by Leopold Eisenstadt with a scarce "LE" hallmark. The wing is in sterling silver with a 14 karat gold "US" affixed to its center. The wing detailing is beautifully ornate and the pair of wings is joined to the central crest by six halved rings.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 3-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with 14 karat gold.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING and LE mark.
