ARTIFACT: This is a real example of the very sought after Australian made USAAF pilot wing for 5th and 7th AF pilots. Made of solid sterling silver, this wing is in excellent shape with a nice even, dark patina and well-marked on the reverse. Please be assured this is a real example and should not be confused with the many copies floating around eBay and shows.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: 3.125" wide by .75" high.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with English style Y-hinge and simple C-catch.

MARKINGS: ANGUS & COOTE STG. SIL.

ITEM NOTES: VABJX09 LEEJX9/09 SEAEX6/10

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent - Very Fine): Very minor wear and light tarnishing, truly a wonderful example of this wing.
