This is a beautiful and real example of the very sought-after Australian-made USAAF pilot wing for 5th and 7th AF pilots. Made of sterling silver, this wing is well-marked on the reverse. Please be assured this is a real example and should not be confused with the many copies floating around eBay and shows.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:13/16" height and 3-1/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with English-style Y hinge and "C" catch.
