Thank you for visiting. Thank you, Ron & Kana

ARTIFACT: This is a classic early World War II United States Army Air Forces issue "graduation" pilot wing. The wing is in sterling silver and shows a striped crest at its center. There are initials scratched on the wing's reverse, presumably those of the new pilot and his sweetheart (G.G.-W.J.), to whom the wing was probably presented.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" height and 3-1/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING and G.G.-W.J.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX10 LBDEX3/11

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The wing has some small areas of wear and abrasions and an overall tarnish.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
