Description
This is a World War II Nazi SS enlisted man/non-commissioned officer combat belt buckle. The buckle is marked 1939 and was manufactured by Overhoff & Company of Ludenscheid, a premier manufacturer of SS buckles from about 192It is of aluminum construction and was injection-molded. It has an embossed central section with an SS pattern eagle and the motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue!" (My Honour is Loyalty!) encircling it. The buckle is marked RZM 36/39 SS, with 36 standing for Overhoff's maker code and the 39 designating the year of production.
