Description
This is an early World War II Finnish Reserve Officers School badge for Class 44-1 of 1940, or the RUK Kurssi 44-I Risti. The graduating class that year numbered 1152 men. The cross-shaped badge is in enameled .813 silver and is hallmarked on reverse. The backing has maker information.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/8" by 1-3/8" square.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:.813 silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:813H (silver mark), L-6 and three other marks on reverse; maker on backing.
