This is a circa early World War II Douglas Aircraft War Production Drive Committee (WPDC) lapel wing pin. Douglas Aircraft Company was a California-based outfit that began in 1921 and merged with McConnell to become McConnell-Douglas in 1967. The pin is in gold fill on silver.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 9/16 in height and 1-1/2 in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gold-filled on sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS: GF SS.
