This is an early World War II, circa 1942, USAAF Cadet cadge of the eventual New Hampshire Governor Hugh Gregg. The badge is in excellent condition. It can be surmised that Gregg, who was in the Counter-Intelligence Corp before becoming Governor, had tried a stint at a pilot at one point in his life.
