Description

ARTIFACT: This is a circa early World War II American Field Service donation badge. Members of the American Field Service were volunteer ambulance drivers who rescued wounded soldiers in different overseas regions. It is in gilt brass and white enamel.

VINTAGE: Early World War II, circa 1942.

SIZE: Approximately: 13/16" in height x 1-9/16" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.
