This is an early World War II United States 1st Army medical units shoulder patch. It is similar to the 1st Army engineer patch, but the center of the blocky A is more purple than red.
VINTAGE:Circa early World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The patch shows some light to moderate wear.
